I know there are some of my peeps out there who skip the video game parts, but I swear you should read this next one.

I rented a video game called "Max Payne." I discovered that this game is intensely cool, and I been playing for some time when I reached a segment that I could not pass. I was supposed to follow a runaway criminal by jumping onto the top of a moving train. I estimate that I attempted this jump 674,000 times, each time falling to my death. OK, in reality it was more like 20 attempts. My roommate Jason suggested that I walk away and come back to it later. I followed his advice.

Now, we have television problems here in our room... it works well enough with the proper motivation- it needs a lot of smacking. The image will just shrink to a single horizontal line. Well, when I came back to the game, the TV was doing its thing. And I said "Screw it, Jason. I have just as much of a chance if I do it now, when I can't see!"

Well, of course, I made it.
