Occasionally goes on a one year hiatus.

I promised myself posts would be more frequent this semester. I broke a promise to myself, and have since gouged my eyes out in penance. Both of those sentences were true, except the second one.

So the Patriots won the Superbowl and the Apocalypse is upon us. These are not separate phenomena. Man, I hate the Patriots.
Football season is over, but basketball exists to console me. At least until the beginning of June... then begins the time of year when baseball is only pre-empted by more baseball, and all sports fans everywhere become amazingly interested in the New Zealand Rugby League, or trout-fishing, or full-contact checkers because the only thing less exciting than watching a four hour baseball game is watching ice hockey.

Sadly, the TV died. It took its last beating, and just died. Happily, it waited until just after Zac and I finished our seven-game series we busted out on NBA2K2. We said we were going to play it just like it was the NBA Finals, so my Sacramento Kings took on his New York Knicks. Needless to say, it went seven games. And just as I turned off the PS2 after game 7, the TV died for good (I know you're all wondering who won the series, but I won't say- because I don't want Zac to be upset that the fact that he got schooled is all over the internet). So we moved the little TV into the "common" room (if by common, you mean two people and possibly a chair or a third person) and used the dead TV as the table to rest it on. Turns out I have a lot of desk space.
