I know that when it happened, I didn't really understand it. It's something that fits into that odd category... events that I witnessed that I realize were important much later in life.

Then I sometimes feel angry at myself for being young or ignorant. The Berlin Wall coming down; the LA Riots; the first Gulf War; and, oddly enough, the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001.

But it's affected me more and more every anniversary that passes.
