I haven't been posting much recently here, but the conversation continues at my brother's message board. Anyone who hasn't joined in should join in. And let's get some rousing discussion going on this message board too, damnit. There's a link just over there ----> and possibly down just a little bit. Come on people. Let's keep it together.
It's a pretty stressful time with school winding down; the job getting ready for a-startin'; getting truly excited about going to London next semester; preparing to move to a new apartment (by which I mean doing absolutely nothing to prepare for moving to a new apartment); watching the Lakers as they prepare to get swept by the San Antonio Spurs; and final week of rehearsals for my show.
It opens tomorrow. And the Lakers play tonight. And I have to write two papers as the final for my Celtic Mythology class. And they want me to, get this, cite sources. What is this, school? I thought I was at "spring theatre camp", or something. Now they want papers all of a sudden.
I'm sorry that the post I left off with was such an angry post. I don't mean to shout. I have since changed all my feelings toward commercials. I have decided to embrace them, rather than shove them away. Which leads me to this.
Man, I love that "Gellin' like a felon" commercial more than any other on TV! It's my true favorite!
I want to go to London. I'm so fortunate to be able to study there. Let's take a look at my schedule.
1) Topics in British literary, visual, and performing arts.
This includes field trips to pertinent locations. What fun.
2) Introduction to Playwrighting.
Yum.
3) History of British Cinema.
We'll see. I'm excited.
4) Theatre in London
We go watch theatre. Then we discuss it. Might be the finest course description ever.
Alrighty. When I get to London I suppose I'm going to be... unplugged. Perhaps we will discover that I control the Matrix.
Other than that, it means that my connection with the world through the internet will be through terminals in internet cafes. Again I say "what fun." So in September this site will change over to a major British theme, including animated GIFs of the Union Jack and a MIDI version of that shitty song "London Calling." Look forward to that coming your way soon.
I will not promise to post more. But I have some official looking documents here proving that I have the ability to post more, and have attempted to buy supplies from Niger with which to post. Did I mention that they look very official?
